Fun Friday Afternoon

We had lots of fun today at the park! I saw ducks! Daddy shared his popcorn, but I wouldn't share my crackers with the ducks.....I was hungry. Then, I got to play on the slide & the swing! This week I have learned something amazing: Clapping! (well, & I also learned to pull off my own diaper....& of course, when I combine clapping & no diaper, that equals peeing on the floor! hehehe)
Momma says I make the funniest expressions & I'm always making her laugh. (where does she think I get it from?!?!) I also love to play with the doggies. I tried to teach Riley to do "Patty Cake" & to sing along with me. And, I just love my blue elephant! I sleep with him now & carry him around with me.
Love, Davis

My Great-Grandma Bee Swoyer

My great-grandma Bee died early this morning. Momma told me some of these things about her "Grandma Bee"........
She is resting in complete peace & love in Jesus' arms now. She also really missed her husband Mel, Sr. (my grandpa Mel's daddy who died when he was a baby) and her 2nd husband Harry (my momma's "Grandpa" who died 8 yrs ago).
Momma says they were wonderful grandparents to her & to my aunts.
We all know how much she loved us. She even got to meet my cousin Nathan for the first time last weekend. She was so proud of all 4 of us great-grandkids! And, she was so happy for Momma when she & Daddy got married.
She always looked into my eyes & told me what pretty blue eyes I have. She gave us all great hugs & kisses too! Momma remembers spending lots of summers at their house in PA when she was growing up & all the fun times they had. Aunt Mimi remembers all the fun shopping trips she took them on. Aunt Stacey also had a very special place in "Grandma Bee's" heart. Grandpa Mel was her only child, so she adored him so much. Grandma Gaile helped to take good care of her too. Momma is sad....but also knows "Grandma Bee" is at peace & in heaven now after 87 years here on earth. We will miss her! I saw her just a week ago & she gave me a big smile & held my hand.
Love,
Her Great-Grandson Davis
