Bluebonnets, Friends, & Backyard Fun

Hello! Here are some pictures we took with the bluebonnets. I wasn't too sure about walking around in the "weeds" but Momma wanted to try to take some photos. I was happy after that, though, because my friend Diego & I got to play together. I also have lots of fun at play group too.

Momma & I are going to try some new "classes" soon too......something about a music class & also playing at Gymboree. We tried the open house at Gymboree yesterday, & I had a blast! I was pretty overwhelmed the first few minutes of it, but then I really got into it & had lots of fun.

Momma has been finding lots of good deals on play & yard stuff for me. (Daddy says she's addicted to "craigslist" on the computer & that we have plenty of plastic stuff in the yard & garage now.) We got a little playscape last weekend, & then we couldn't pass up a free sandbox this week. Daddy filled it up with sand last night. We all 3 played in it this afternoon. I got to bury my legs in sand & build a sand castle!

Mowing, Gardening, Etc.

I'm a big boy now. I like to help Daddy in the yard. Last week, we planted some flowers & mowed the grass. It was so much fun! I even helped him shovel some dirt & sweep the driveway after we were finished.

Last weekend, I got Elmo for an Easter gift. I tickle him & he laughs & rolls all over the floor. He cracks me up! I can even say his name now. ("Melmo" is what comes out...but he understands I'm talking to him.) I like to tickle Momma & Daddy too & make them laugh. Love, Davis

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter to you all! We had a fun-filled weekend. Aunt Mimi, Uncle Marino & Cousins Isabella & Natalie came to Austin, so we got to play all day Friday with them. While we were at Grammy & Grandpa's house, I also got to see my momma's aunts & uncles (Carlton & Bill, Joyce, & Janiece & Sam) .... & of course we got to visit with my great grandma "Mamaw" too. Then, on Sat, we went to Grandpa & Grandmother Hicks house. I got to play with Uncle ChaCha, Nathan & Aunt Scout, Erik, & Clay, Polly & my friend Elaine. She's really growing up fast too. She can walk now & is as tall as me!

I'm still working on getting in about 6 new teeth.....& I missed some naps this weekend.....so I was a little less playful than usual, but we all still had a lot of fun.

This morning we went to early church. (burrr! It was so cold this weekend!) I was so surprised & happy to see Grammy & Grandpa on the pew with us. I liked listening to Grandpa sing all the songs. I even got to see Elliot at church too. Boy, he's grown up alot too! It's so fun for all of us to be 1 year old this Easter!

Daddy's Little Boy

I just love my daddy! I try & imitate everything he does, & I love to help him around the house & yard. We have alot of fun playing too! He's such a great daddy!
