Trip to Tyler, TX

We spent Memorial Day weekend in Tyler, Tx, with Grammy, Grandpa, Aunt Mimi, Uncle Marino, Aunt Stacey, Uncle Mo, & Cousins Isabella (4 yo), Natalie (2 1/2 yo), & Nathan (10 mos). We had alot of fun playing together. Nathan can crawl all over & pull up on things, so he's right there playing with all of us now too. I shared all of my golf clubs with everyone, so we practiced hitting balls. I also loved giving everyone hugs & kisses....& repeating words they said.

I had trouble sleeping & got overly tired (& did not like being in the car so long)....so we had a few frustrating moments (Momma & Daddy said they got some gray hair over the weekend). But, it was great to be with everyone & spend time together. And, I was also really glad to be back home with all my toys, in my own room, & where everything is familiar.

We visited with Momma's friend Marci from high school too. They have 2 boys, & Keaton let me play with his cool train toys.

Hicks Family Fun

We enjoyed going over to Grandparent Hicks' house last Sat night. Happy Birthday to Uncle Cha Cha! And, we celebrated Mother's Day too. It was so much fun! Love, Davis

What I Did This Week

Hello! Whew! I've had a busy week & lots of fun too. Here are some photos of what I did this week.

Momma's old camera broke, so I helped her pick out a new camera for Mother's Day. Now, she's back to taking lots & lots of pictures again! (Cha Cha, she said she won't let 3 wks go by again w/out updating the blog!)

I like to help vacuum the house, & it's so fun to help Daddy wash the cars.

We've been going to the duck pond alot too. I threw some bread out to all the ducks, but then I got hungry & decided to eat the bread myself. Daddy has been taking me on lots of wagon rides & walks. We have alot of fun together, & I still like to help him mow the back yard.

Grammy & Mamaw came over to see us the other day. I was pretending to drive Mamaw around in their car. I really like seeing them! I also got really excited to see my friend Diego from down the street. I even said his name when I saw him. I'm trying to repeat lots of words I hear. Everyday I say more words....it's getting easier to repeat what Momma & Daddy say. I also say Betsy & Riley's names....ask Momma to put ice in my drinks....ask for cheese....say yes alot & nod my head yes more now.... I'm also finding more things to climb now & I discovered that it's not a good idea to climb the bar stool. I got a little bit of a black eye & a bump on my head from that one. Momma says I'm "all boy". I also have scraps on my knees & legs from all the climbing & running around I'm doing. I hurt my leg doing some of that, but it feels better now. I woke up the other morning & couldn't stand on it for awhile. That was frustrating.

I better go find more stuff to do....more drawers to look in....more things to explore outside. Love, Davis
