I love arts & crafts now! I've been coloring & drawing alot....adding lots of stickers....drawing circles & lines...trying to learn my colors....& having lots of fun! I even got to finger-paint for the first time last week. I really liked it! At first, I wasn't too sure about getting my hands that messy (& didn't know what that stuff was), but then I really got into it & we even used Q-tips too (which I liked to swirl all over the paper & make different colors together). I hope we do it again soon.

We also went back to the library last week too. First, we sang songs & they read books to us. Then, we watched a puppet show about Red Riding Hood & the Wolf. I'm still not for sure if I really liked it or if I was a bit scared of some parts of it. But, I sure like to say "puppet show!" alot now. After the show, Momma & I looked around & read some good books. I really liked the one about the different kinds of airplanes. It was also fun to get on the kid computers. I watch Momma & Daddy on the computer at home, so I knew how to use the mouse & type. I like to say "type" & "email" & "computer" alot too.

Halloween & Aunt Scout's B-day

Hello! Whew, it's been a couple weeks since we've done another post. But, I was sure Momma had more pictures to share. Let's see...what's been going on? Well, Halloween was fun with my friend Diego. We ate supper & played together & then went trick-or-treating on our block. I LOVE lollipops! I looked for them at every house we went to. Diego dressed up as a UT football player. I like my costumes, but I didn't want to wear them. So, I just wore my orange outfit & engineer's hat.

The next weekend, we had a party for Aunt Scout at Nathan's house. Now, I go around saying "Happy Birthday Scout!" all the time. I had fun checking out all the stuff at Nathan's house & getting to see the 2 cats that live there. I also brought my lawn mower & mowed his backyard for him before dinner. Papaw & I played with lots of stickers & my "Thomas" outfit. We like to say "All Aboard!" & "Tickets Please!" (We sure missed Grandmother Hicks, though, & hope see feels better very soon.)

I still really love books, & it's fun to match & name things now too. Daddy & I read Blues Clues matching book & Thomas the Train every night. Momma reads me lulliby books & we all get good cuddles & hugs in. Momma says I'm such a great hugger! I like to brush my teeth more now that Daddy brushes his teeth with me. I tell Daddy "big boy" & "no baby". I'm a big boy now & have my own birthday coming up in a few weeks.

We had lots of my friends over for playgroup last week. I really like playing in my sandbox. Then, on Sat night, Diego & his baby brother Karlo came over to our house to play & eat supper together. His mom & dad came back to get them when it was time for bed. I really like babies now too!

Oh, Daddy is so fun! He got his old trains out to show me, & then we played with my new Thomas trains. I also like to put the track together & make a hula hoop to play with. I remember that from Gymboree. I love my trains! Goodnight. Love, Davis

Pumpkins, Pumpkins Everywhere!

Pumpkins pumpkins everywhere! Momma & I went to a big pumpkin patch last Sat morning & took lots of pictures. I really liked pulling the wagon around & gathering the little pumpkins. I also checked out the gourds & shoke them like marocas. On the way home, I put stickers on my little pumpkin, & we took a big pumpkin home to Daddy. He's still not feeling well. Everyday I say "Daddy...hurt...back...bandaid". I like to lay in bed with him & watch football & cartoons. Sometimes he even lets me have the remote!

I'm also having lots of fun with my friends. We go to the park alot, & this week at play group we decorated pumpkin cookies. Yum Yum! Daddy & I also carved a pumpkin last weekend. So, I've been talking about pumpkins alot this week. And, Momma took me to a fall festival in our neighborhood last Sat. I got to eat popcorn & my first lollipop! Yummy!!! Now, I keep asking her for more. I also got to do a fishing game, get pumpkins painted on my hands, jump in the bounce house, & eat a hot dog there. On Halloween morning, Momma & I went to Old Settlers Park for another fall festival. I wasn't into the long lines & games too much, so we played on the playscapes & then fed the ducks. I told "Ellie" all about it once we got back to the car. All the other kids were dressed up in costumes. I didn't want to put mine on, so I just wore my orange clothes & big brown hat.

Connie & I have been playing with play dough, stickers, & coloring alot lately. She even sculpted some of my favorite things out of play dough (dog, lawn mower, Ellie, & my Elmo chair) I was so amazed! I just love it when she comes over to play with me! When Momma asks me what I like to do with Connie, I tell her "Connie...play...eat...night night...snack" Oh, also this week, I started calling Momma just "Mom" to try that out. So, now when I wake up at night or in the afternoon, I just holler "Mom!" & she'll come get me out of my crib. I also figured out my mattress is a pretty good mini-trampoline! wheee!
