Drummer Boy, Ducks, & Fun

I sure like music & playing instruments! I've been playing my drums alot lately, & Mommy plays my guitar. We also like to dance alot. (Daddy just laughs at us, but sometimes we can get him to dance too.) My friend Kevin came over the other day, & we played marching band with our moms. Daddy came home just in time to see us marching down the hall with the dogs too. On Friday, I met my friends at the "jumping place" & then we went to eat at ChickFila & played some more. Grammy met us, & we walked around Petsmart too. (Mommy said I was crawling up the walls at home, bursting with energy....after being inside during all the cold, rainy weather lately.)

Poppy came over yesterday & went to the duck pond with us. I showed him how to walk all the way around the pond to the playscape area. He & Grammy also met us for supper last night with Diego's family. That resturant sure is great...it has a big playscape in the back! & lots of room to run around!

Daddy started graduate school, so I see him on his computer alot. I have my own laptop (Thomas the train), so I email & type alot too. I always say that I'm emailing Uncle Cha Cha. Daddy also got our webcam & microphone hooked up to our computer. So, Mommy & I watch Daddy at work & say "hello!" in the mornings. I smile really big for Daddy & sometimes read him books & tell him about my day. Have a good weekend! Love, Davis

Tall Boy

We had fun today drawing a life-size picture of me. I hung it up in my playroom. I'm a tall boy! The doctor says I could be over 6 ft tall when I grow up.

I also had alot of fun this week going to the mall with my friend Diego, going to Ethan's playgroup, & playing with my friends at Ella's house.

I think I caught a little cold or something. My nose sure is running today. But, I haven't been sick in a long time, so I'm sure it'll be over quick. Daddy is home all day today, so I better get back to playing with him! Love, Davis

Pizza Anyone?

As many of you know, PIZZA is my favorite food. Daddy had a great idea for all of us to make pizza together last weekend. It was so good! This is how I did it: laid out the dough, spread the pizza sauce around, dumped a bunch of cheese on it, threw some pepperonis around, & then added lots of black olives & tomatoes. Yummy! (It was good, but my favorite pizza is still at Mangia Pizza.....& I like their dinosaur mascot too!)

I still love playing with my trains, & I like telling everyone the names of each engine. My friend Elliot gave me a new "Thomas" book for my birthday. I read it every night! Speaking of him, we had so much fun at their house last night! Elliot has SO many great toys. I also had fun running around with him, spinning, & watching him jump so high & fast. His little sister Chloe is so cute. I talked to her while she ate her food. I also had alot of fun at playgroup last week. There's a new park that just opened up in our neighborhood called "Champion Park". It has a big dinosaur sand dig area, rock climbing walls, & the rest of the park. I dug up some dinosaur "bones" & found the skelton buried in the sand. I can't wait to go back!

I also got a special treat this week: we went to 2 Gymboree classes! (the play class & the music class) It was so much fun playing all the instruments, especially the drums! I also really like all the bubbles in the air. In one picture, Mommy is showing me the tiny bubble she caught on her finger & I'm trying to pop it.

Let's see....what else have I been doing this week? I do exercises with Mommy & Daddy. Daddy & I do exercises for our backs. (His back still hurts.) Mommy & I go out in the jogging stroller & find lots of parks. We also do some floor exercises & watch the DVD. I'm always reminding them to do their "exercises!" Today, we went to church & out to eat with Grammy & Poppy. They also babysat me on Friday night. We ate lasagna, read lots of books, played outside, & had lots of fun together! After my nap today, Uncle Cha Cha came over to play & watch the Cowboys game. Mommy also got in my clubhouse with me in the backyard. This week will be lots of fun too I'm sure! Love, Davis
