Happy Happy Easter!

Happy Happy hip-hoppity EASTER to you all! What a fun weekend we had! Mommy, Daddy & I played in the backyard alot on Friday evening. I really love to play in my sandbox lately, & I always love playing football with Mommy & Daddy. Daddy & I also practice golf alot too.

On Saturday morning, we all went to our neighborhood egg hunt. Mommy & I got our faces painted, & then we had the egg hunt. I got so much candy! (Mommy said I need to be 4 yrs old before I get bubble gum, & Daddy suggested we give it all to Uncle Cha Cha who loves gum. I did show them my sweet boy face, & they let me lick a tootsie roll. It was right before my nap, so I guess they had some sort of plan.....) After my nap, we went to my Grandparent Hicks' house. Boy, they sure know how to have fun & throw a great Easter egg hunt & party! My good friend Elaine & I hunted the eggs & then cracked the confetti eggs all over the place. My favorite was cracking them over everyone's heads! I also now really really LOVE swinging! Grandpa hung a really neat swing for us on their giant tree. Cha Cha & Scout pushed me in the swing & laughed alot with me. Grandmother also had some hardboiled eggs for us to dye & put stickers on, & Elaine & I got to "paint" the patio floor & walls (it was water, which was even better....I liked pouring it out & refilling it alot!) We always have alot of fun at their house!

This morning, we went to early church service at St. Martin's & then had ANOTHER egg hunt. I got to see my friend Elliot & his mom Catherine there too. Elliot & I gave each other hugs & kisses. His mom gave me a big hug too. We will miss all of them. After that, we went home to eat lunch & all take our naps. This afternoon, we watched some golf & then all went & played in the backyard some more. I was a big helper & helped rake leaves with Momma, & we watched Daddy give the trees "hair cuts". Then, Momma & I went to "Saltgrass" to pick up a good Easter dinner for all of us to top off our day. I tried a big rack of ribs but it wasn't my favorite. I ate my chicken & mac & cheese instead. Goodnight & HAPPY EASTER! Love, Davis (P.S. Happy Birthday to Aunt Stacey!)

Puppet Show at the Library

We had fun at the library today. They had an Easter puppet show! We also got Easter stamps, goody bags, bunny ears, & our faces painted like bunnies. Grammy, Aunt Mimi, Mommy, & Cousins Isabella & Natalie all went with me. We also got to listen to stories, sing songs, & dance around. Earlier this week, we all got our hair cut. It was only my 2nd haircut ever. This time I got to watch "Thomas" cartoon while they cut my hair. I hear we're going to have lots of fun this Easter weekend too! Love, Davis
