Dinosaur Park

We have a new park in our neighborhood that I like to go to now. I call it the "dinosaur park". It has a huge sandpit dinosaur dig & also picnic tables, swings, a whale that sprays water, & also lots of walking trails (& even a good place to throw rocks into the water & also watch the fish jump around in the water) We went there 2 times this past week. Spring is FUN! I love going to all these parks! Love, Davis

Poppy's Retirement Party

My "Poppy" Swoyer is retiring from being Spiritual Care Director at LSSS. We went to his office today for a party. My favorite part was the CAKE! I ate both the white & chocolate pieces! Poppy got a really neat cross for a gift, & people said really nice things about him. I love him too! Daddy & I sat at Poppy's desk, & Poppy showed me the kids' playrooms with all the toys. I also pretended to run a meeting when I stood behind the podium. (CEO Hicks) Afterwards, Poppy & Grammy came over to our house to eat pizza & play in the backyard. I gave them "high 5's" everytime I hit the baseball.

This week, I also went to the park with my friends & played alot in our backyard enjoying the warm, sunny weather. Happy Weekend to You! Love, Davis

What I've Been Doing

Hi, again! We've had more fun again these past couple weeks. Let's see....what all have we been doing? Mommy & I go to the library more lately, & I love checking out books & going to storytime. We also fingerpainted again the other day. I LOVE that! Gymboree is always fun too. I also like going to Sunday School & church. This morning, I went up front during church to sing with my preschool friends. We sang "Give Me Oil In My Lamp" & recited I John 3:16. (well, I stood there....but I was very good & stood in my place the whole time.....At home I will actually sing the words to the song along with Mommy, & when I get older I'll learn some Bible verses.) I like to also walk around the backyard singing "Jesus Loves Me". Actually, I'm really into singing & music lately. I also know most of the words to "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" & other fun kid songs too.

I always love playing with my friends. Mason & his daddy came over the other day, & we all played ping pong. Mason is a little older than me, & I think it's so cool that he plays with me! I also love all my friends from playgroup too, & I'm meeting more new friends at church. A couple weeks ago I played with my friend John at the bouncing place. And, my friends Cole & Diego came over to play the other day too. Grammy & Poppy are back from their vacation & have been playing with me. We had fun last night building with my duplos (we built a "rocketship"!) & playing in the backyard. I love to hit golf balls & baseballs! I still really really love PUZZLES! (esp the floor puzzles) Mommy bought me 3 new ones: Thomas the Train, ABC's, & Construction. I'm getting really good at them & love a new challenge when I work on new ones. My favorite cartoons lately are "Thomas the Train", "Sesame Street", & lots from Clubhouse Disney. My grandparents Hicks are back from their vacation too. They bought me this really cool "Navy" baseball cap. I wore it today when we went out for our walk. Thanks! Hope you all had a good weekend too! Love, Davis
