Grandmother & Grandpa's House

Happy May to you all! It's hot outside, so that means we're enjoying the swimming pool! We got together at Grandmother & Grandpa Hicks house last weekend for a belated Mother's Day & for Cha Cha's birthday. My friend Elaine & I enjoyed the wading pool. After a good dinner, we played in the sensory table with water, sand, golf balls, toys...& shaving cream! Daddy & I pretended to shave. I was so proud to copy Daddy! (I was even pretending to put shaving cream on my face the other night in my crib....Mommy came in to check on me because I wasn't asleep yet....I told her I was putting on shaving cream. She thought that was funny!)

I also had alot of fun with my friends last week at Radijazz, the park, & swimming pools. We also had fun tonight when Cha Cha came over to play. We danced to some music & pretended to play our instruments after supper. I also sang my favorite song to him ("Jesus Loves Me"....I also belted out that song in church this morning....I love the Jesus Loves Me book Aunt Mimi gave me.....it has all the words & music!) Waco Zoo

My friend Blake & I had a great time at the Waco Zoo last week! We saw so many animals & had so much fun! My favorite animal is the elephant, & I was so excited to see one at the zoo. I showed my "Ellie girl" (stuffed animal elephant) the pictures we took of the elephant from the zoo.

Last week, I also played with my friends Diego & Ethan at the park. And, every morning I do exercises with Mommy. I follow along with the lady on tv, say all the names of the exercises, & tell Mommy to keep going. She thinks I'm rally funny! I also really love playing at Ethan's house. My favorite is pretending to be a fireman!Love, Davis

Mother's Day Weekend

Wow! What a week & weekend we've had! So much FUN! I played with my cousins Isabella & Natalie all week. We went to the library & to lots of parks.....ate lots of meals & snacks together....played at my house & Grammy & Grandpa's house alot....played in my backyard with the new slip n' slide Daddy bought us....took naps.....& ate & played some more! My friend Ethan got to go to the park with us one day, & we had alot of fun (& ate a picnic lunch with Grammy too). Then, we all got together for more fun on Friday & Saturday (Grammy, Poppy, Mimi, Marino, Isabella, Natalie, Stacey, Mo, & Nathan). When I saw Aunt Stacey's belly I said "Wow! It's big!" (Cousin Nicholas is in there & will come out & play with us in July.) We went today to the dinosaur sand park (& ate another great picnic lunch). It was hot out, so we loved running through the whale sprinkler at the park too. Then, we all took long naps & got back together for a "Rudy's" supper (& watermelon & ice cream cones too!) at our house. We had a ball playing in the backyard in the water! (Thanks, Daddy, for the Slip N' Slide!)

Mommy, Daddy & I also got a special treat & ate at IHOP one morning. I got the HUGE pancake with the funny face. Mommy also made pancakes earlier this week & made a silly face on my pancake then too. I love pancakes & French toast for breakfast! (& turkey bacon!) I'm also learning to multi-task (as you can see in the 1 photo of me: talking on my cell phone, reading a book, & brushing my teeth all at the same time). Well, it's been a fun week....I'm tired now & better get some sleep. Love, Davis
