Happy Birthday Daddy & Grandpa!

We had so much fun with Cousin Nathan when he was in town for a week! Here are some pictures of us.....& also pictures of things we've done in the last couple weeks: going to friends' houses, celebrating Daddy's & Grandpa's birthdays, library music show, swimming & parks, trying out my new baseball glove (thanks, Daddy!), & enjoying all the fun things to do in the summer. (We've been swimming alot, since it's so hot out!) Today we went to the Children's Day at the Symphony park downtown. "Aunty E" sang for us.....arts & crafts....brass band....clowns....story-teller....lemonade...balloons (& did I mention it was hot outside!?) It was fun, but I was hot & there were alot of people there...so I was ready to head home & enjoy the A/C the rest of the day.

Oh, I almost forgot. I also went to the dentist for the 1st time this week. Dr. Jenny was really nice, but I admit I was scared & I did cry. But, afterwards (when we were "safe" in the car & leaving) I talked non-stop about my visit to the dentist....& was proud of how clean my teeth were & having my own floss, new toothbrush, & big kid toothpaste. Daddy showed me how to spit, so now I can use big kid toothpaste. Maybe it won't be so bad next Feb when I go back to the dentist. I did get to watch cartoons, sit in Mommy's lap, check out all the dental equipment, see the cool aquarium & all the neat toys & books they have there. She said my teeth look great! And the best part: I got a lollipop! (sugar-free of course) Goodnight..... Love, Davis

Welcome Baby Nicholas!

I have another cousin! Baby Nicholas is now 3 weeks old. When I saw him, I said, "He's so cute! so tiny!" Aunt Stacey, cousin Nathan, & cousin Nicholas spent a week in Austin with Grammy & Grandpa. Aunt Mimi, Isabella & Natalie were also in town another week to play with us. We had so much fun fun fun together!!!! Lots of playing, eating, laughing, swimming, & running all around! Whew! The summer is so fun & so much to do! We also got to play with Bryce & Aiden at the swim center in Pflugerville. (They're mommy's cousin's kids.....I guess they're my 2nd cousins.....well, I just know they're lots of fun to play with!) We all made Grammy a "sand castle" birthday cake last Wednesday for her birthday. Mommy stacked the cakes to look like a castle, & then we decorated it with all kinds of good stuff! (frosting, crushed vanilla wafers, ice cream cones, candies, fruit pieces, & anything else we could find & eat!) It didn't look exactly like the picture in Mommy's magazine, but it sure was fun to make & it tasted yummy! Grammy was happy to have all 5 of her grandkids with her that day. Poppy was at church camp last week, but he's back home now & got to play with all of us this week. Happy Birthday Grammy! And, Happy July to you all! (Coming up is Daddy's birthday.
