Elaine's Birthday Party

My friend Elaine had a really fun party today at Landa Park in New Braunfels, TX. Happy 2nd Birthday, Elaine! It was a GREAT day to be outside all day! We ate a picnic lunch, played on the slides & swings, ran around alot, threw & kicked alot of balls, had yummy cupcakes, walked along the river & skipped rocks, threw frisbees, flew kites, fingerpainted, played in the sand, laughed alot, & enjoyed watching Elaine turn 2 years old. My favorite part was the TRAIN RIDE! We rode all around the big park & I yelled "Choo Choo" & "Tickets Please" & made my train noises. I even wore my engineer's hat & got to talk to the engineer. What a fun day!

I also had another "first" last week. I went to Sunday School last Sunday. I LOVED it! I can't wait to go back. There were so many nice kids there (mostly boys, which is fun). We sang songs, played instruments, listened to a Bible story, colored, & played with all the neat toys there. One little boy even gave me a hug & shared his red car with me. After that, I felt like a really big boy & walked around the church...exploring new rooms & areas.....& telling Mommy to stay back & let me go on my own. I have to remind her that I'm growing up.

I better get some sleep. I had so much fun running around & playing today, that I forgot to stop & take a nap (other than a little nap in the car). I woke up at 5:45am this morning. I was ready to go to the party! When we got home, Daddy stayed outside in our front yard flying the kite. I could barely keep my eyes open & keep standing up. I'm only 2 you know! heeheehee Love, Davis
