Happy 4th of July!

Whew! What a busy, fun week I've had! I posted lots of pictures....here's what all we have been doing:

Last weekend, we had my friends Sophia & Mason over for pizza, ice cream & playing in the backyard. Oh, we also went to a cool swim center in Round Rock last week too with my friends. And, the weekend before that, we went to some friends' house from church for more BBQ & swimming in their backyard. I love all these friends to play with!

This week, my cousins Isabella & Natalie were in town all week, & we had so much fun! We went swimming THREE times in 1 week! We also played in our backyard, ate lots of good food & desserts, played at Grammy & Poppy's house, went to Chuck E Cheese together, went to the park, ate at a resturant (that had a playscape too!), watched a fireworks show together one night, went to the bounce place & more eating, played "grocery store" at my house with all the cans & boxes Grandmother saved for me, & giggled & laughed ALOT! They even taught me to play "3 billy goats" on the bridge & tunnel in my clubhouse. We played football tonight with Daddy at the park. We also ate lots of ice cream & cookies!

I also went to my 1st baseball game on Wed night to watch the Round Rock Express team. I loved it! I can't wait to go again! Mommy & I walked around the whole stadium looking for the mascot, Spike the Dog. We finally found him, & I got my picture taken with him. I love baseball! I've been practicing my swing every night. I also know every word to the baseball song, & I sing it over & over & over & over & over again every day & night. Thanks, Daddy, for taking us to the game!

We did alot to celebrate the 4th of July too. I really had fun at the fireworks show Thursday night. It was also fun playing & eating at the resturant before we went to the park. Uncle Marino, Aunt Mimi, Poppy, Grammy, & my girl cousins came too. We all wanted "more more more" fireworks! Then, Friday morning, we went to Grandmother & Grandpa Hicks house to see their neighborhood parade & eat hot dogs & chips & play with Uncle Cha Cha. I loved waving my
flag, & I even got to be in the children's parade at the end. They really know how to have fun! I even introduced them to my (pretend) friend "Susie", & we let her come over to eat lunch too. Then, that afternoon, Mommy's side of the family all came over to go swimming again. (& more pizza!) We topped the weekend off with going to the bounce place & more swimming & backyard fun & food (& ice cream & cookies!) on Sat.......& Grammy & the girls came over again tonight for supper & more playing. At church this morning, I was listening to the pastor talk about the story of the house on the sand & building on The Rock. I turned to Mommy & Grammy & said "I know that song!" & started singing it. I also like going up to the children's sermon & when we go back up front for communion. I waved & said "It's time to go up there....come on Grammy!" Then, I showed her the proper way to hold & cup her hands to get the communion wafer. I really like the drums & guitars & singing the fast songs at church!

Happy 4th of July! I'm going to take the day off tomorrow & rest & play at home. Then, it'll be time for another fun week with Grammy, Mimi & the girls! And, Happy Birthday to Grammy this week!!! Love, Davis
